Nevertheless, in the 1970s he participated in the construction of Ještěd, right in the hotel lobby, so no guest can miss his work. Here is the grille in a period photograph by Pavel Štecha taken just before Ještěd opened to the public in 1973. Back then, the floor of the hall was still covered with carpet.

The entire rail is composed of the remains of agricultural machinery, all parts are firmly joined together. An experienced observer will find in the grid crosspieces, hooks, spikes, shafts, parts of movers and other historical agricultural aids.
